MG MGF Technical - heater fan switch

My fan has stopped working on settings 1 & 2. I've seen it mentioned before on here that this can happen.

Is this easy to fix? or is it a cheap enough job for me to ge the local dealership to do it?
neil

Neil, have a look in the archive, either MGF General or MGF Technical. Loads of hits.

Neil.

If you find anything out, could you post it on here please!.

Got the same problem with my fan switch!.

Cheers.

Mark.
Mark

Hi guys

It's not the switch itself, but rather the resistor pack that's your problem. As JohnP said, try the archives and search on resistor pack. MGR part around £20 from memory. HTH.

Hi John

I'm finishing tonight - off on my hols, so spending the day finishing off all the 'odds and things' that need to be sorted before I go!

PS I know it's a bit late now, but I understand you couldn't get the engine grille covers to fit on a certain silver TF? They're on there now!!!
