MG MGF Technical - Is Palmsville Garage any good at sevicing
Has any1 had there car serviced at Palmsville Garage. R they good or am i likely to get into a fight with them ha ha! |
gee |
Yes. They're adequate. But they weren't able to sort out the window alignment problem I asked them to attend to. Since my patience with companies that don't do what is asked of them is very, very short, I now have the car serviced at Techspeed, who I can't rate highly enough. Which sort of answers your question ;o) |

Palmsville? I think that where my car originally came from. Is it in Colney Hatch? t |
tony |
yes it is. |
gee |
Gee, I live in Luton and work in Watford. My 'F is serviced in South Yorkshire, by MS, and, much like Rob's choice, can't rate highly enough. Is there a dealer that services up to the same standards? |
Chris |
Chris, I doubt that they could match either MS or TS for service - they seem to be far too busy to spend any time with customers or respond to their individual needs in the way that the specialists can. That's the gap in the market that these guys are able to sucessfully exploit. :o) |
Rob Bell |
my problem is i need the car to get to work or i need a courtesy car. Seems like i got no choice but to use a main dealer. |
gee |
Gee, Palmsville supply a courtesy car, but you have to book it in advance (at the time of booking the car's service). |
Rob Bell |
I didn't realise that Palmsville supplied a courtesy car because each time I asked them if they could supply one , the answer was 'only if you had bought the car from them' With regards to their servicing standards I think the answer is variable. |

Give Diamond over at Hatfield a try. Although I have had some bad experiences in the past, they have not let me down recently on straight forward servicing and they have an excellent track record at avoiding service-related HGFs. They will also let you have a courtesy "F" provided you give plenty of notice. Chris |
