MG MGF Technical - It's been a pleasure...
Folks, It is time to bid you all adieu. After just over a year, I've decided to px my F against a new ZR. The call of a three year warranty, cheaper tax/insurance and a beast I wouldn't be pouring money into was too great to ignore. There's an eight week waiting period, so all I need to do is keep her between the green bits for a while ;-) Mind you, I put two new rear shoes on her last month and be damned if I'm not gonna get my money's worth outa them! At least I can look back and say, yes, I once owned a two seater, high (?) performance sportscar, and man, I loved it. Thanks for making me feel welcome to this board, and for the endless great advice. It has been a genuine pleasure. Take it easy, Colin soon-to-be-ex-with-no-regrets MGF VVC PS No doubt there will be some pillock along presently to celebrate the loss of another MGF owner. So predictable. |

Best of luck with the ZR. |

Yep Colin all the best mate - no need to be a stranger either. :-) SF |

Best of luck with the new car. Are you going for the face-lifted version? It'll be making its appearance at the NEC motorshow in a few weeks time... |

Rob, If it's the updated nose and tail (reg plate moved to bumper I think), then yep! I could've gotten a new (old model) ZR within a week... but I'd've had to forgo the ABS and uprated seats. So, better to wait, I think, even without seeing it ;-/ Col Soon-to-be-Trophy Blue ZR |
