MG MGF Technical - k seal

has anyone used it

FWIW, and just my 2p's worth, I wouldn't consider putting *anything*, any form of stop-leak, at all, in a K series engine. The low volume of coolant and narrow waterways makes this too risky IMO.

Find the leak, and get it fixed!
Mike Hall

You won't believe that I put some Radweld in back in Feb 2003 which stopped the leak in the radiator successfully until it was replaced in June 2006 8-[
Still better to fix the leak not plug it!
Mike Cunningham

If you search the web you will see reports that dismantled engines that had products like this used on them were found to have blocked waterways.
As Mike says as the K series is designed for quick warm up and has small waterways I would not consider using such a product on a K series engine.

I had A Triumph Stag put Rad weld in to stop a small leak in the radiator,it blocked up approx 1/3 of the rad tubes.

I tried it, don't bother, waaste of £15, fix the leak !
