MG MGF Technical - leaky
After picking up my 98 VVC on 22nd March, it has to date been back to the dealer for incorrect ride height, cam belt change, rattly exhaust, blown exhaust and now I have a leak from the front drivers side. It may be the radiator, or is there something else in that area that could be the problem I'm a bit brassed off, but at least everything has been covered by warranty so far:( |

How were you made aware that the ride height was incorrect. I've had my VVC for about 3 months now, haven't noticed any problems, but to be honest if there was a problem with the drive I wouldn't really notice it. Whats worth making sure I get checked before the warranty runs out ?? Cheers in advance Stu 99VVC LE75. |

I measured it, was 10mm lower on drivers side than on passenger side, now I'm not too clued up on car mechanics, but I was pretty sure this wasnt right :). The drivers side was about 30mm lower than the recommended height (358mm?? if I remember correctly) |

Hi Colin, Standard ride height should be 368 mm, from centre of wheel to bottom of wheel arch. Steve |

I thought it was 358 +- 10mm?? Too high whatever way you look at it, get some lowering knuckles fitted and you'll never look back ;-) Regards, Ian |

run mine at 245mm seems to be fine |

Offically, should be 368mm +/- 10mm. Cheers, Steve. |
