'ut ow! You've got just minutes before my namesake, Neil from 'Chav' Labs, comes and hunts you down! This guy sells them in England (on EBay), but don't know any actual manufacturers. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10414&item=4518028678&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW Its a well discussed subject whether this would 'improve' the car? |

>> I am trying to find out which model lexus supplies the rear light clusters that fit our cars. << LOL :-) Nice one! I too am a bit narked by the word Lexus used in relation to these light clusters, surely they are only Lexus lights if they actually come from, or are made by Lexus! ;-) SF |

>> I am trying to find out which model lexus supplies the rear light clusters that fit our cars. << The answer to that Mike is none. There is no commonality between any Lexus (Toyota) model and the MGF/TF. The term "Lexus" is being used as a generic term to refer to a particular style of light: the chrome tail lamp with jewel effect lamps set within them. These are available from a number of sources, from eBay to the online companies that JW lists. Hopefully one of these will deliver to Australia for reasonable money! Good luck with your search - you'll have one very unique car there if you do fit them! :o) |

Yeah, that's a good one: people do tend to forget what the Lexus part stands for. I must be getting old (only joking). ;o) |

Please please forgive me when you live in the ar*e end of the world like we do and have to import or order oil filter sometimes, or wait a week for any spare part or accessories curiosity got the better of me will never do it again. my car is dead standard except for some stainless rollbars. Mike |

<<surely they are only Lexus lights if they actually come from, or are made by Lexus!>> They started off being called 'lexus style' lights but then most people objected on the grounds that those two words really shouldn't appear in the same sentence. |

Observations: I can't help noticing that most folks here hate those Lexus lights. Maybe it is the very name Lexus, that everyone seems to hate? I also can't help wondering why the style of fuel filler first found on the F is not called M.G. style. Or have you a better sugestion? |
Cecil Kimber |
Cecil There seems to be many owners on here who think anything Rover make is fantastic, anything German or Japanese, is CR*P!. Perhaps if they were called "MG lights", that would be OK!. Oh well, each to thier own!!. Bling, bling. :o) |

>Perhaps if they were called "MG lights", that would be OK!< Well it's happened. Just read my local, and MG have launched the 'Trophy' range of ZR's. Complete with Lexus style back lights! LOL. Any comments Neil? ;-) |

As I sad before, I think the silver ones are a bit naff, but the smoked are ok, and on the right car look much better than the OEM. Have a look at Deano's coal lorry to see how good they can look. http://google.mg-rover.org/showthread.php?t=47349&page=7&pp=20 |

Lexus lights now OEM. ....MG made in Birmingham...it isnt exactly Milan now is it? So I suppose anything goes! BUT ZR's are in the CHAV size marketplace, so I suppose you can understand why MG have bowed to consumer requests and fitted these abominations to the cars. :( |

>> I also can't help wondering why the style of fuel filler first found on the F is not called M.G. style. << ...I thought the F fuel filler cap came from a motorbike... SF |
