MG MGF Technical - MAP-sensor input at open loop?

I believe IŽve read in the workshop manual that MEMS does use imput from MAP sensor readings (amongst other things ECT,... ) when in open loop (>80% TPS or cold start). Is this correct?

Obviously O2 is not used in these occasion.

thanks,

Yeas

The ECU uses just the MAP sensor, engine speed, air temp sensor and water temp sensor whilst in open loop. The TPS is used for fueling transients such as sudden acceleration or release and for working out the 'closed throtle ' position

Thanks for confirmation Will !

Will, any idea what duty cycle MG-R limits their injectors to? 85%?
David

no idea, ask me in 2008 (when I might get round to building an ECU)
Will Munns

*LOL* I know a guy who is actually building one. IŽll post some pics if I have the time. Very impressive. HeŽs been working on it for about a year now.

Any idea about VHPD/VVC injector rated flow ? Or a Bosch partn° maybe?

thanks,
david
