MG MGF Technical - MG Rover RAVE CD 'expired'
My copy of the 2002 MG Rover RAVE CD suddenly doesn't work anymore. When I try to launch it, a "MultiUser Security Handler" screen pops up saying "Expired". Is there any way to disable or to bypass this time sensitive feature which, I understand, is there to make sure dealers always use the latest version of the CD sent to them? |

There should be a "date.bat" on the root of the CD - run that and it replaces a file with one which doesn't check the date. Tim |

Or temporarily put the date back on your computer? Bruce |
Bruce Caldwell |
Change your computer date when you run rave and change it back after. |

I thought it was only the EPC that was date sensitive? SF |

I thought so as well SF but looked again and the original poster stated '2002 MG Rover RAVE CD' - I have only seen RAVEs prior to TF intro. |

Was looking at my RAVE disc last night and it worked fine. DC |

Hmm...good point, I was thinking EPC when I answered! My RAVE works fine too, it's only a set of PDFs. |
