MG MGF Technical - MGF Facia Binacle/Hood

Is it possible to aquire a replacement Facia Binacle/Hood over the instrument display.

Previous owner(s)have made a very poor attempt at repairing it.

Hello,

If I remember correctly the binacle is screwed to the dash from the inside and to actually remove/replace it you basically need to removed the dash itself!

I "fixed" the binacle back on my '98 VVC using clear silicone sealant (i.e. the stuff you use to seal the edges around your bath etc.). That seemed to work quite well, although I have not had that car for 7+ years so I don't know how well it lasted. HTH.
