MG MGF Technical - MGF rear window replacement

Thanks to all those who responded to my earlier
request in late April for information on who can
replace plastic rear windows.

The lady recommended to me is Sonia Morris of
69, Rydal Gardens, just off the Whitton Road, between
Hounslow and Richmond. Tel: 0208 2893 9747.

Got there at 9.30 a.m. from Northampton (about 1 hr.
30.mins) today and she had fitted it by 11 a.m.
including new zippers for £130. and a very good job
she made of it to, no complaints about the quality
and her service.

She is a "one man or should I say woman band" operating out of her garage at the rear of her
property. Only does the MGF rear window inserts and
also does the MX5 rear window inserts (which my wife
will be pleased to know about). If you are a bit of
a DIY fanatic, she can send you the replacemnt window for £75. plus £7 postage. She says doing the work
at weekends is not a problem which was certainly useful for me. If you want it fitted, but the zips are ok, then the charge would be £115.

I recently broke the zipper slider on my rear window zip and after making contact with Sonia, she sent me (at a very reasonable cost) a new slider, complete with all instructions.

Saved me a having to buy a new rear window. First class service, many thanks Sonia.

Yep, I agree, Have used her services too. First class Job. Provided with rivets, velcro, paper to the window (to tear off after install),

Hi! JohnP, Herts.

Tried that link you suggested, but for some reason
could not get through. Perhaps you can help me out
by forwarding it on.

Sad really that I have got to wait till one of my
sons comes round to see what I have done wrong, tells
me not to delete anything once again and then puts it
right! It may be that some important "cookies" have gone astray. It must be old age creeping up on me!
