MG MGF Technical - MGF Window Stop Replacement

Hi all

I've been having problems shutting my door because the window seems to be coming up too far and hitting the softtop.

I've had the door off and found that the little orange clip has broken off. This clip looks like it hits a little plate inside the door and the window stops.

Now, I've been looking around online for somewhere I can get one of these clips - i've looked in the other door and the clip has been replaced by one of the newer bolt window stops.

My question is, does anybody know where I can order one of these clips from? - I was hoping someone might know of an online store or something I can get the clip from.

Window stops are available from ant MGR Dealer or from Brown & gammons by mailorder (see advertiser section for contact details).

Do I need to order all 3 of those parts you've listed or just one of them? I assume those 3 parts all go together - those new clips don't look like they were actually meant to be used for the window stop...

Those orange clips ain't much good are they... found one in the bottom of each door when I took them off lol.

Only got my MGF last week - a student loan well spent I say...

I have in front of me right now a pair of black window stops that I bought from B&G. There is no part number on the bag but all 3 parts are in the bag. I just asked for "a window stop for an MGF".

Yieks ! Just had a look to the B&G site.

Beside of the new kit. They list aswell still the old crappy unreliable. Can't believe ??

@ all:
At MGR dealers you must order all above parts to get the right, wherein the bolt is just a M6x15 allen bolt.
