MG MGF Technical - MGF wont start
Hello! First time here... :-) Iesterday i was low on fuel (just low - not empty), the engine was running badly then stoped. I filled fuel to half thank. The engine started fine, idle for a wail, then off. I ma not able starting it again... Very strange: I see a lot of very little oil drops on rear bumper confused...any idea? |

Dario, Your fuel tank could have become low enough for the fuel filter to have become contaminated with the dirt from the bottom of the tank. Another thought....did you fill it with unleaded of DIESEL! |

Thank u SAM solved: no fuel trouble... it was a rotor arm fault regards |

Hi Check when you switch on your ignition that you can here the pump working. if not try the fuel shut off valve centre dash panel(under the Heater)This shuts down if the car has a crash or rolls over.It could be that it has cut out for some reason or other. Regards Colinc678 |

The 'Normal' position for the Fuel Cut valve on the 'F' is LH side rear of the engine. Geoff F. |
