Giving the mechanic the benefit of the doubt for a second, it's possible that the pressure has been set to an identical figure (400psi) on both sides, but a problem with one of the spheres isn't resulting in equal ride height.

Also possible that it has 'settled' more on one side than the other, but was exactly equal at time of pumping. It can take several days for the 'true' height to be evident.

I'd take the car back and ask some questions before going elsewhere, as you may find yourself paying twice but still not getting the ride height corrected if there is indeed a problem with one of the spheres.
bandit

Bandit could have a point. Firstly it is not a regas, the process is to pump fluid into the system not gas.
Minor point I suppose however there is gas in the suspension units that the fluid pressurises to adjust the suspension height. If that gas has escaped (which does happen) then the suspension becomes very stiff and for a set pressure the suspension sits low and the only cure is a new suspension unit.

All that said I think it maybe a simple balance problem the only way to be sure is to go back to the garage and speak to them. Had I pumped up your suspension I would prefer you to come and talk to me first if you were unhappy.
Bob (Robert) Midget Turbo

I had a similar problem with my car. Got it regassed / reset but after a while it went back to being low on one side. Needed to get the suspension fixed as the hydrogas sphere (i think that was the part) was leaking. Cost me about £300 all in for this
