MG MGF Technical - MGTF05 Model Front Brake Hoses
Can anyone tell me what route the front brake flexi hoses follow on their 05 model year TF one with the glass rear window hood as standard. I have some front brake hoses for 05 model cars and they are obviously different to the earlier cars. I presume they no longer follow the top arm of the suspension but hang loose in a more conventional positon. |

If I get time I will have a look tonight. Alternatively I work in Rugby so can let you look at the car if you need to? |

Steve that would be great - Free pair of hoses to you if we can meet. |

Steve meet at Halfords at 3:00 pm Friday ok with me - have sent you a reply. John - I have sets of 05 MY hoses and want to check out if they will fit earlier cars to do this want to see if they run from the same position under the bonnet as the older cars. My expectation is that they hang down infront of the suspension unlike the earlier hoses that ran across the suspension arm. |

For information the 05 TF hoses run from a small bracket on the wheel side of the inner wheel arch, arcing across directly to the brake caliper (as does the ABS sensor cable). Not sure if this is correct route on earlier TF's but definetely different to MGF |
