MG MGF Technical - MOT Failure....

Anyone got any idea how much it might cost me to have new shock absorbers fitted to my F (‘96 1.8)?Apparently there was way too much play in the bushes!

You can get the bushes seperatly, but MGR don't sell them, have a word to MS.

Mark,

Drop me an email, I may be able to help you out if you're coming to Silverstone.

Thanks for the help...and the offer Tim (v. kind), but just spoke to my Dad and he's sorting it.

It's just bushes and cheap and chips.

Mark,

Glad you're getting it sorted.

If Anybody else is interested in a set of 2 month old shocker poly bushes (still installed in orignal shocks) then drop me a line. I've just installed some nice new Bilsteins so now they're surplus to requirements.

Yes, they do (part number NAM018, if memory serves me correctly). However, none of the dealers keep them in stock - they would rather sell you a complete shock absorber. I rang round every MGR dealer in Kent looking for them, but ended up ordering the poly ones from MS.
