You could speak to Victoria at MGF Centre to see if they have some lightly used ones at a sensible price.

Andy, in answer to your question<I was wondering if Mike Saturs sports cat was worth considering?.>
IMO yes. If you want to know why you can e-mail me if you wish.
Mike.
PS running with a broken cat will damage your engine as the ceramics can get back into the head.

Andy,
Just to let you know, there's a bloke on Ebay selling MGF cats. I've just bought one from him this week, for the princely sum of £60 inc. P+P. I think he has more in stock, as I've seen him advertising again since I bought mine. Just took delivery yesterday, and was as described- brand new, in perfect condition, but without the sensor. Made in Germany by Eberspacher (not sure if this is O/E) If you're interested, the seller's email address is iawalker@blueyonder.co.uk, and he goes by the user name of Protein Machine (or something like that) on Ebay.
Regards,
Andy mayne.

Must stress I was in no way denegrating a Mike Satur product - simply trying to save you a bit of money.

Mikes products are beginning to decorate my car and, if there is a guarantee that they are packed by Della, then I may soon buty even more!

John, of course I never read your posting as anything other than being helpful, the downside to ceramic cats is they will eventually break up and if left will cause engine problems, this was in a circular from the AER.If costs are a consideration then alternative sources are available as now pointed out.
Regarding the sports cats I am awiting dyno figures for these and will post them on our web site for interested parties.I have tried them before offering them for sale and found them to be very effective.
Regarding Della packing the products we cannot offer any guarantee this will happen as she has been off work two days last week. If you can share the 'Della factor' with me perhaps I can offer this as a future optional incentive;-)
cheers Mike.
