MG MGF Technical - (NFC) unknow front brake calipers

Hi,

apology for the really no MGF content question, but I hope some of you have seen more different brake calipers then I evr will see ...

If any mechanic could find the time, please have a look to this caliper and pad images.
They are from Lucas and quite big.
May be from any Rover ?

Your kind help is appriciated
Stamped on numbers (making some sense to someone ?)
2202 B15
2122 B17
fixture bolt distance 140mm (2x M10)

Thank You
Dieter
PS never seen this part numbers, though
Dieter

Try Dr Dave Dieter - he's got experience with both Rover and Land Rover products and may recognise this (although it looks pretty generic Lucas Girling to me...)
Rob Bell

Thanks. Posted at Dave's,
Several had a look but no success yet.

I assume they are not Rover. Lucas application is more then 3000 as found on any online shop pdf file.

Anyone out there with a link to different Lucas/ATE brake pad shape images ??

Regards
Dieter
Dieter

They do look verey close to the lucas that are on the early MGF front but your the guy that has the Know ?
GRAHAM

Graham, not the skills, but only both parts in my hands to compare.

MGF is much smaller.
Anyway, latest ideas direct on the ZR 160 from 2002

ZR/ZS is looking the most likely candidate Dieter.

What is it for BTW?
Rob Bell

Errmm, dead easy, I bought this stuff myself *wrong* at Ebay, *stated as MGF front calipers* and try to help the seller to solve his problem on getting rid of them to the correct application.
;)

Dieter

I googled the GDB number and got this - http://www.webparts.co.uk/Brakeworld/Buyguide/HTML/BW778.HTM - ZR160 or ZS2.5. HTH
Tony

Tony,

LOL, that's the link where I found the GDB number with googeling for ZR/ZS brake pads and noted down on my site ;)
My only worries are with the two of wear indicator springs.
And if I look up Nissan etc mentioned there, then I finbd different pads.

Dieter

ROFL - Tony-10/10 effort, 0/10 acheivement. Just like my old school reports!
