Most likely the cable Dave. It happened to me a while back. Stu |

Cable or retaining clip at the gearbox (have a look, it should be pretty obvious if the cable has worked itself free). What an annoying start to the weekend Dave! :o/ |

Got to agree with Rob. Most likely the clip. Can you wiggle the selector out of engagement from underneath so you can push it around out of harms way? Dave, whilst you're under there, check your rubber exhaust hanger, only £1.16, and keeps your exhaust pipes central in the rear spoiler!!!! |

Nope wasn't that easy, had to call AA,he suspected snapped cable, and away she went ;-( will know more Monday, have AA parts and Labour so hope this helps, Dave http://www.swmgf.org.uk/images/pics/FAA1.jpg http://www.swmgf.org.uk/images/pics/FAA2.jpg |

There was me thinking we'd get a close-up shot of the offending item, rather than just a shot of the offending item! |

Dave, Are you starting a rogues gallery on SWMGF then ? Bad luck though, hope you get it back soon, didn't damage the nose getting it on or off did they ? Adrian |
