MG MGF Technical - Part Number for rubbery bit please!
Hi all,
J Gordon
Hi all, I'm looking for a part number for the oddly shaped rubber bit that fits around the edge of the driver's/passenger's door window if possible please. It's the part that fits around the edge of the window front the inside to the outside. Any ideas please? Thanks, Jon.

Jon, Am I right in thinking you mean the door/window seal that fits around the 'A' frame (windscreen) and down both sides? Have a look at http://members.aol.com/apttony/ but bear in mind the year of your car. Tony

Tony, Not too sure that we're talking about the same thing here. It's the little rubber bit that sits on the left hand side of the driver's door (where the window goes) as you look at it front outside. It's about an inch long and curves around the side of the door/window. [---- --> to front of car Key- [ = Little rubber thing I'm after! ----- = window Hope this diagram helps! Thanks! Jon. PS nice site tony!

*g* I missed this piece at my current car when I got it, but had a spare from a wreck. Lucky me. :) Don't think someone can supply the part number. Though, you can use the picture for inquiries at breakers. Good luck Dieter
