MG MGF Technical - Quad Exhausts
I'm thinking about fitting a stainless quad to my 97 1.8, having looked at the MS one and the B&G one,is the B&G true quad any better (i.e BHP, Noise ??) than the 2 to 4 from Mike?? Appreciate any thoughts on this, Thanks Wayne D |

I was also impressed in principle with the B&G quad. Unless it is very noisy (as B&G seem to imply) it seems like a promising option. Has no one got one? |

B+G quad is a Miltek and although there are differences between models (Gran Tourismo vs SP/Supersport), they are minor and tend to be mainly volume related rather than sound quality - i suspect they share similar internals. Therefore the Exhaust tests on Rob's Site, despite not having the Miltek quad in there, should give a good insight into what to expect by comparing the Supersport and Gran Tourismo with the Mike Satur Daytona. To be honest, if the Miltek quad is up to the same standards as the other Miltek systems, they will be in a similar league to the MS Daytona system (which came out top) and therefore you should be happy with either. quad exhausts? Naaaaaa two is really one too many for straight four engines |

>> two is really one too many for straight four engines << My factory spec V6 ZS only has a single tailpipe, my MGF when it was factory spec had two. Number of tailpipes don't mean diddly these days mate. :-) SF |
