MG MGF Technical - Rear Spoilers
I know it is a personal preference but what rear spoilers do people prefer. I have had a look orund the net but the pictures allways seem to be tiny so it is really hard to tell what they are like. Any thoughts? |

Dont have a spoiler on mine, instead when i bought it the previous owner had put a TF bootlid on it, which has a built in lip/spoiler on the back.Quite subtle but looks, IMO, better that the add on spoilers available. |

I have a trophy spoiler, and love the way it looks. i'm going to borrow a digicam and try to take a whole bunch of pictures of the car. |

I Have to say out of the ones I have seen the trophy one has taken my fancy :) |

Have a word with Victoria 01902 403045 mgf centre I know she has at least a couple of trophy spoilers. Great prices (naturally) and superb spray work too. |

Tim - you got a rough idea how much one of those spoilers would be? |

here's a pic of mine and think it really makes a difference to look of F, there are a few different types and cost around £200 or so ,very happy with it Dave. http://www.xpower-mg.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2665&password=&sort=7&thecat=598 |

MGF Bloke, I really can't remember how much sprayed, I know at the time it sounded like a bargain, I would suggest dropping her a line enquiries@mgfcentre.com Ps can you put a real name to your 'mgfbloke' handle for us! |

Spoilers just don't suit the lines of the F/TF ... TF bootlid I'd go for that if I was pushed. Gaz |

Dave what type is yours in the picture? |
J Price |
James, Mine is the Moss One item code mgf106, £170 comes unprimed and unpainted so you have to get sprayed, cost me about £30,will send you pic in moss on your e mail, Dave. |

J http://www.safier.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Spoilerpage.htm I have the trophy spoiler fitted to mine, hope that the pictures shows it clearly enough for you to judge. |

It is, as you quite rightly stated, personal preference but IMO the Trophy spoiler is the the one that looks best and carrys the smooth lines of the F to the best effect. Mike Satur can do it for £270 painted to your body colour and can fit for an extra £40. You should look at photos of each individual spoiler and choose the one that most takes your eye, and of course consider overall price but that Trophy one will get you everytime I'm sure. regards Chris |

J I purchased mine from Smith & Deakin who also do the Trophy front spoiler. The price for the rear Trophy spoiler is £150. This is primed for spraying. http://www.smithanddeakin.co.uk/LS.htm |
