MG MGF Technical - Rear view mirror / Dismantle
Does anyone know how to dismantle a rear view mirror? One of the bulb sockets has pushed inside the mirror itself and I cannot get at it even with a pair of teasers so I need to push the socket back into position. Help!!! |

Not tried - it all appears to clip together. Great for ease of assembly, very tricky to pull apart without trashing the plastic casing. :o( Should be available second hand, if worse comes to worse? |

Easy - used a knife and it came apart easy and went back together fine |

Swiss army knife - that handy rear view mirror dismantling blade - presumably, Julian? |

Steve I had to sneak a kitchen knife out whilst the Missus (Swiss) was not looking. Very particular for some reason as to how her kitchen knives are used, I have to confess I do not own a Swiss knife! |

I know - weird that isn't it. Happy to use the same knife to chop salad and raw chicken (cleaning in between), but for some reason slicing wrapping paper is "dirty" |
