MG MGF Technical - Rear window
Does anyone know of a place I can get my plastic rear screen replaced in the north west London area, I am aware of somewhere in Corydon which seems reasonable but don’t fancy spending the day sitting in traffic on the M25. Any recommendations appreciated. Regards |

Hi Timothy, There's a woman in Twickenham that does a very highly thought of exchange & repair service, is that close enough? Dont't have her details offhand but if you search the archives you'll find info. |

If you get a replacement screen, it is pretty easy to replace, DIY - http://www.mgf.ultimatemg.com/group2/DIY/exterior/hood/rear_screen/index.htm |

Hi! Timothy, As Mike mentioned, the lady in question is Sonia Morris of 69, Rydal Gardens, Hounslow, Middlesex, tel: 0208 893 9747 or 07904 893460. She can send you the part for £75. plus £7 p.&p with full instructions on how to fit it and she cazn also supply zip sliders and runners. If you are not into DIY, then take you car to her, it takes about 2 hours and she will relieve you of £115. I used her fitting service and like a lot of other MGf owners, were very pleased with the results. Bill |

Sonia fixed mine the other day £115, fixed within the hour and a great job |

2 hour job to replace mine with a new one from MS. Pretty good with DIY and didn't fancy Morrisons of Stirling labour charges |

You could try Moto-Build in Surrey. I had mine done today and am very pleased with the job. Try www.moto-build.co.uk Em Jackman |
