MG MGF Technical - Replace thermostat?
Hi all, need to replace the thermostat as engine is hot but radiator cold so there's a problem somewhere! is this a diyable job? any advice on what to do? cheers K |

Yours is the one car which really doesn't want this problem. I can't really help but I seem to remember Dieter had some info on his site. Seemed reasonably DIYable. Hope you can make Saturday. Can you bring that ITG :0) |

Might be worth chatting to DVA Kingsley. Replacing the thermostat is usually a straightforward job - albeit one where the access is rather tricky owing to its location. Not sure whether yours was relocated after the installation of Bernard Scouse's airbox? |

i'll give Dave a ring, i don't think we relocated it with the air box. ITG is in the boot Tim! along with some silver pipe to make an enclosure for my filter while rolling road tests are going on. |

Good idea to make an enclosure Kingsley - should improve torque and power if you can reduce the intake temperature... Does the M3D monitor intake charge temperatures? Tim - remember to put that Pipercross filter in the boot of your car too!!! :o) |
