MG MGF Technical - screen wash / wipe

Is it just my F that has the washer jets switched separately.
Surely the wipers should wipe when the screen washer jets are deployed.

It took me some getting used to but now i prefer it to the one push option. The thing I can't get over is the lack of dim/dip.

When your washer jets have frozen, you'll be glad that you don't have to smear the screen!

and you can use the wipers for a bit longer to flick of most of the water when driving top down.
my only gripe with the system is when i wash the screen the lever pushes the change disk button on my stereo remote.
most annoying!
