MG MGF Technical - soft top
| My soft top has gaps where it joins the bottom door corner on both sides. You can fit your fingers through it easily and when I take it to the carwash I get soaked!! Is this normal? Is there anything I can do or buy to cover it? Dolly |

| Dolly I'm afraid that the holes where the hood hinges are normal. As far as washing the car goes the manual advises against taking the car to an automatic carwash. :o( Tim |

| Dolly If it's the bit behind your shoulder on each side of the car then TADTS (sorry TADTM). Water doesn't seem to get in no matter how hard the rain but carwash tends to find every gap. |

| Dolly are you saying you put car through car wash with soft top on and you sit in it? ,and your getting soaked?? don't do that any more Dolly if you are,it's not meant to go through wash,and could damage your hood or rip it, you can however with hardtop use car wash, use jet wash instead and keep direction of water from the gaps,hope i have read you right if not applogies, Dave. |

| Heehee Dave! No I take it to the hand carwash (I know I know its pathetic but it easier) I wouldn't dare take it through an IMO flippin heck it the roof would fall apart!!!!!! Oh I'm really miffed thats standard fit - thought maybe the roof had shrunk :-) Dolly |

| I would advise against jet washing or pressure washing your MGF as well. They can seriously damage the fins the air vents on the side of the car |
