MG MGF Technical - Soft Top Windows
Does anybody know if soft top windows are still in business as their website is not working? If they are does anybody have a contact number? I am looking for a replacement rear screen and they are the most reasonably priced. |

I've been trying to contact their server since 9th June without any joy. Also couldn't find a trace of "soft.....) in yell.com for Croydon area to get phone number. I'll try to look in a few old mags tonight to see if I can trace a number. I hope they haven't gone under due to the mass defections to MGF Centre!! |

Had a long day staring at a screen and cannot find the ad in Enjoying MG but phoned the number from Tony just 5 mins ago and spoke to them. They are still in business, are/were not aware of server problems but thanked me for contacting them and will look into it tomorrow. Suggest we contact them by phone if urgent. |

Cheapest rear screen replacement I've been quoted was £25. I live in a coastal region of the UK where there is an abundance of sailmakers and the like. So I decided that at that price I'd be a fool not to and therefore asked some bloke in a shed to stitch in a new screen. Only difference is the plastic is a bit thinner than that originally fitted to the car but at least I can see out now - the original screen had become a bit milky - and it keeps the rain out. I did find softtop windows website helpful for the instructions on removing and replacing the screen though. |
