Hi Russ,

I used them about three weeks ago and I must say, a job well done at a reasonable price. I sent mine off so had to take out the back window myself. Not an impossible job though and only takes about 20 minutes or so. I post it off to him on a Tuesday and he had it delivered back to my house by the Thursday morning. All in all I'm very pleased with the quality and the turn around. He takes out the old screen and inserts a totally new piece.

The guy (Steve) was very helpful and came recommended from other guys on this site.
Can only echo it !!

Can actually see out the window now as well, which of course helps. Think it worked out just over £110 including postage and the VAT.

Hope this helps.

I used them about 18 months ago they were excellent.

Thanks for the feedback.

How exactly does the new clear panel get fixed in?

How good/flexible is the panel now ie a few months on?

a couple of things about rear plastic screens, they are all stiff/brittle in cold weather, they do fog up after time, a rub with greygate (or other similar product)polish will restore it to perfect clear visibilty.

Russ,

Not entirely sure but close examination suggests that he removes the old piece and sews in a totally new piece. He told me before I had it done that it would never crack and would be far more durable than the piece that was in before.

After getting mine back I have to agree with him and the visibility through the window now is excellent compared to what is used to be.

Only had the new piece in for a few weeks but so far so good. Fairly flexible but I always zip the screen out now before the roof goes down !! Reason why I had to get another window !! I've learnt a very valuable lesson !!

The guy Steve was very helpful and I'm sure would probably explain to you how it works if you asked him.

Overall service, quality and turn round of service: 9/10.

Cheers,

Tony
