MG MGF Technical - Speaker size?

Anyone any idea on how to replace the speakers in an MGF (97) and what the speaker size is?

Many thanks.

165 MM I believe - the archive has a load of help and I am about to change myself - considering Kenwood 1777 speakers - anyonw had experience?

Infinity Reference 652i's. Can be mounted into the original speaker mounts using self-tapping screws.

Other speakers may require building a mounting surface from MDF.

There's a FAQ sheet about installing the 652i's on my website http://ultimatemg.com under the FAQ section.

I replaced mine, but originals are not as bad as you guys think. They are one of the good ones from factory. It depends if you have MK1 or MK2 though I think.

But yes I have infinity components now..

As a side issue, what are the sizes of the standard fit rear speakers? and has anyone replaced these?
