MG MGF Technical - Stainless steel exhaust - which one

I need to buy a stainless steel exhaust for a 96 mgf. Moto Build advertise one for £195+ VAT. Has any one any experience of this - it appears a 'good' price.

Can anyone reccomend a stainless steel exhaust - I don't want it to be too noisy

Don't get a Phoenix then ;-)

Sorry couldn't help myself.
Only had it on for a few weeks and I haven't stopped grinning..One problem though, my jaw aches a bit now while I'm driving.
Can't help you with your problem, so I'll leave and make space for someone who can.

Couldn't reccomend the MOTOBUILD RACING exhaust enough. Not mega loud, but you get a nice deep throaty roar when under load.

Cheers,
Duncan.

How about the Remus one? Sounds good? Performance?
MGF

Yet to see one over here MGF. Indeed i have only seen one in total - in Germany. Looks and sounds good though.

To be honest, the MGF/TF market over here is flooded with exhausts and because they don't result in major power gains, they tend to be sold on looks/sound and build quality. Most of the good ones are similarly priced so money also doesn't really make a lot of difference.

Motobuild were one of the first companies to produce an aftermarket system for the F (indeed they were one of the original three, the others being Mike Satur and SP Performance / Miltek). I have no experience of the newer systems but the original one was very nice indeed, looked good, sounded great (deep rumble) and was well made.

Personally i am on my third system now, i started off with an SP Supersport, replaced it with a Mike Satur Daytona and following the accident this year, decided on a Phoenix system - i wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of them, i have been very happy with them. :-)

Rob Bell has some good stuff about exhausts on his site, check out >> http://www.mgf.ultimatemg.com << and search for exhausts. It's a little out of date but gives a general idea of what is out there and what the better systems are.
