MG MGF Technical - sunvissor
Hi does anyone have a cheap solution to fixing the sunvissor my spring has broken. also to my record whats colour is it?i think i have colour blindness creeping in. lol anyone getting rid of any hard top seals for a mk 2 hardtop?? darren |

Darren, I had same problem. Spring wasn't broken - just needed repositioning. Take sunvisor off first and gently prize open the unit. You will need three hands to reassemble but it is do-able. Mike. |

And secure the grey-coloured flat spring with a dab of super-glue at each end after re-fitting, or it will come loose again ! |

If the steel spring is exposed then you have the MK1 sunvisors the MK2 version are much better and the clip is hidden under the plastic which wraps all the way around. |

Replacement with a second hand good visor is probably the cheapest and simplest solution then Darren :o) |
