MG MGF Technical - Tiny cracks in side windows

My F is now a year old and I have just noticed a series of very small thin cracks at the top rear corner of both door windows - almost like a uniform crazing pattern - hard to describe (you can actually feel them if you run your finger accross). I'm in two minds whether or not to take it back to the dealer as it took them six attempts to stop both windows leaking at the cheater panel, so now this is ok, I'm concerned that replacing the glass will resurrect that problem again.
I'm interested to hear if anyone else has experienced anything like these cracks and if so, can I expect it to worsten or ultimately will the window break?

Duncan

Mine is five years old and has what appear to be lots of scratches in this position. I put it down to poor QA at the manufacturers. In any case, the windows have not failed.

Take it back, it will bugger the alignment of the windows, but you don't want the glass breaking on you.

Sounds like stress crazing and is definitely not to be underestimated. The glass could fracture at any moment - a slightly heavier door closure, or pothole for example, can induce failure.
I agree with Will - get it checked out and changed

These marks are due to the linishing the glass gets prior to heat treatment, nothing to worry about other than being a bit unsightly.

Mine has those too.... very small (don't know if I can feel them) and they aren't growing (in size and number). Could be something that happened during the production.

Mine has scratches on both windows where you said. I put it down to grit getting in the felt bit that presses on the glass (along the top of the door), scratching the glass as it scrapes by.
