MG MGF Technical - touch up paint?

I need some touch up paint for my mgf but am having difficulty finding anyone who sells it.Does anyone know a website that i could use? Thanks

You should find the paint code on your VIN plate. Follow the link to Pete V's F/TF Central and hey presto:-

I'd appreciate an answer to the question as well - is it possible my ex- MGR dealer could source a touch-up can? Or is it just colour matching at Halfrauds?

Halfrauds Flame Red seems a pretty good match on mine. Hope so, as I'm hoping to achieve a decent job respraying my TF-type boot lid to go on my F. Might have to get the local body repairer to do the final lacquer coats though!

Have you tried Xpart with the correct code?
I bought my touch up tube at Halfords using the manufactures paint code as the colour reference. Perhaps BRG is more common than some of the others!

Thanks for all your help . I do know the colour and the code but still can't find out where to buy it. I tried xpart but had no success. Any other ideas?

Try ringing around your local accident repair specialist. They must get their paint from somewhere.

I've emailed Ralph (above) via their eBay store - and had an email back very promptly. I need a touch up pencil in Mulberry Red - he's ordering one in for me. They do aerosol kits as well.

My F is BRG and I managed to buy a spray from Halfords. Having said that, I haven't used it yet and the chart in Halfords wasn't very reassuring in terms of confirming the correct colour.

I agree with Charless, that is let us know if the ebay source worked since I'm sure other will be interested.
