MG MGF Technical - Trophy boot spolier on TF?
Hi, I was wondering if a trophy boot spoiler will fill the TF, ive seen a few on ebay and was considering buying one to fit to my TF, would anyone have instuctions or a template to fit the spolier on the tf bootlid, alternatively can anyone pls recommend a garage/specialist that will be able to help me. any advice would be appreciated. My local village garage painted and fitted my boot spoiler. Just careful planning, masking tape, tape measure and a pen! I was charged four hours labour including painting. Great job! Russell |

As Russell says, the Trophy boot spoiler does indeed fit the Trophy :o) Looks pretty good too. |

Looks good but adds a lot of weight. The TF bootlid isnt as effective aerodynamicaly as the trophy spoiler (so I'm told) but is a lot lighter. Both are better than the standard F boot lid. What you really need is a lip on the edge of the TF bootlid as per the hybrid TF that can be seen on Robs fine website! Andy Kitson has made one out of foam and ducktape for his racing TF - not pretty but apparently very effective. |
