MG MGF Technical - Trophy calipers

Hi all,

Got a pair of trophy 160 calipers and hubs to fit. I've got 16" cup wheels.

Now the question...Do I need spacers? if so anyone know by how much?

I saw a thread on another web site that stated three types of wheels fit the Trophy Calipers - TF160, Trophy 11 spokes and lightweight cup wheels. However I imagine someone with a bit more knowledge on the subject will be along soon to confirm/deny this.

Trophy callipers and Cup Wheels have been discussed lots of times before. If I recall correctly they don't fit, but prove me wrong (and I hope that I am) by looking in the archives.

I believe the only wheels suitable for the AP calipers are as mentioned above - the TF or Trophy 11 spokes and the ULW wheels. If you find that your wheels aren't suitable, I have a set of TF 11 spokes I need to sell!

Do the TF wheels fit an F without the need for adaptors? I've been considering the purchase of a new set of wheels for some time, plus i have the option of purchasing trophy calipers at a ridiculously low price... : )

If your wheels are in good condition i may be interested? Are tyres included?

Yes, TF wheels are a straight swap and will fit on an F no problem.

As Steve says, the TF wheels fit an F with no problems. I had them on my F for a week or so but the tracking was out on my car and it chewed up the edge of the front tyres. :( The rears have only done about 600 miles. Not sure how much shipping to Cyprus would be though! Email me if interested.

Richard, to fit the cup wheels you will need 18mm spacers, the down side is this will screw up the handling so I wouldn't attempt this.

Your only real option is to buy the TF or Trophy 11 spoke alloys if this is not an option can I be the first to ask how much you want for the Calipers, Discs and Hubs.
