MG MGF Technical - Tyre supplier needed in Northamptonshire/Leics
Just a quickie… I need to replace the front tyres on my VVC (probably F1’s) and wondered if anyone could recommend any suppliers in the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire area. Cheers Nick |

Remember the rules, good tyres only on the back = going forwards, good tyres only on the front = going forwards backwards |

Nick...can recommend Orbit Tyres of Wellingborough and Rushden. I have no connection with this company other than being a satisfied customer for many years. They have "re-tyred" my MG B,Saab,BMW,MB etc and always given good service and good prices. |

Hello Nick, I would reccomend ATS in Market Harborough. Speak to Gavin, I have never had a problem with them fitting tyres to any of my 2 cars. Duncan. |

Nick, if you are looking for a good price, then ring round the local suppliers and ask for a quote, if your tyre wear is even over the tyre don't get stung for four wheel alignment (around 40-60 quid) , as a guide I rang round and the major tyre suppliers ats,hi-q,kwik-fit etc. came in at £85'ish, the best I could get was £65 per tyre fitted, balanced and valve inc. from a smaller non-franchised supplier VAT. Hi Guys Thanks for your input. I've found Eagle F1's for £75 each (inc valve/balance/fitting/VAT) in Market Harborough. Does this seem a fair price? Nick |

Nick, It's sounds like a reasonable price, a little harder work and haggling could get you another £10 off I expect. But thats down to you. Mike |
