MG MGF Technical - Very interesting VVC MEMS2J website

Dieter, Carl, Will, everyone - you're going to love this website!

Check out http://homepage.swissonline.ch/TomsSeven/

Very interesting stuff..
Presumably if I was a little more bright I could check the tuning when changing to a 52mmTB..

Also, does anyone know of the VVC hydraulics failing? What would happen? - just less response?
Neil H

That's great :) And sowhat of detailed. I'm impressed.
(VVC only, but who cars, most is similar to the MPi)
Just put a link on my old sites and sent an email to the author.

Remembers me on my first try 1998? on marking all the MGF wiring harness xls-sheets with colour code table cells in one website. (Modems of users got *overheated* ..LOL).

However, I see the _old_ HTML webmasters go ... ;) At any time someone will come and do netter :o)

Dieter

Unfortunatly not got all the wires, enough to explain, but not enough to use for wireing :-( as it has no 5AS module.

Cheers though, good resorce!
Will Munns

Will,

Nothing could be perfect, it's internet and up to the user to verify information ;)

Took contact to Tom for crosslinks to

Friendly reply, what else :)

He's going on to enhance his with VVC details and ...
--- from email---
I am currently stripping and cleaning the hydraulic tappets on my VVC
and plan to put the procedure for removing the cam carrier, tappet strip
down and rebuild without disturbing the VVC mechanism setup, on my site.
This will probably be updated in March.

Do the MGF club do any trips to Switzerland?
If so please let me know.

Interesting! :o) Look forward to future updates to Tom's MEMS2J website.

Regarding that last sentence - is Tom an 'Fer too?
