MG MGF Technical - warranty

can anybody recomend a good warranty company for me to take up for my f when this one runs out.there are so many dodgy ones out there that when you come to claim the only part that isn't covered is the one you need.

I asked the question of extended warranty to my dealer and apparently you can get what he calls " Rover approved extended warranty ". I would imagine if the dealer puts his pen to it then things should be ok. In addition to this it probably is not as extensive but my primary concern is the good old HGF.

A warranty that actually pays out!
I got them to replace HG 2 months into the policy, they fixed it in 2 days at the local main agent - could really ask for any more.

What kind of service history did they require, MG rover or just regularly serviced at a reputable garage at the correct intervals...?

Is that the AA Personal Warranty (with cover up to £1000 + vat), or the breakdown insurance (£500)?

No the scheme is called AA Motordrive, and the warranty pays out to the value of the car. It is assumed that the car is serviced in accordance with MG guidelines. Youll have to enquire with them.

Looks like they aren't doing this for new members anymore, only continuing existing ones.

The personal warranty is limited to £1000 per claim up to an unlimited number of claims up to the value of the vehicle.

Warranty Direct (www.warrantydirect.co.uk) also does a warranty for the MGF which costs slightly less than the AA one, though may not cover as much. They do have a pay monthly option though which I must say is appealing.

Need to get a new warranty soon as the one I got with the car (non MGR dealer) is about to expire.
