My son has an appointment to 'pump up' the front suspension on his K series Rover on Friday morning in Gloucester. Cost 10 quid as it was a few years before for his MG Metro. These are not Rover dealer prices of course but those of competent local repair and service outlets usually operated by one or two man bands, often ex-factory trained folks who REALLY know their stuff. I dont know if it's as simple to do on the MGF, but it cant be all that different as the designs are similar. If it is, then I'm sure there's plenty of similar outfits on Industrial Estates near to you who can do it on the "cheap cheep"...;) Unless others with more experience of these things know otherwise. If you fancy a trip up to Essex you can borrow the essex roadsters pump for a small fee - Andy will be along shortly to tell you more. |

I had mine pumped up at a local garage, it cost £30 and took about half an hour. |

Does the tracking need checking after a pump up? Or does it just bring the camber angles back nearer to vertical. I have read some of the archive threads on F suspension setup, but still stuggle a bit to get my head round the theory. Any explanation welcome ... Cheers .. Richard |

It's £10 for up and £5 for down at the Essex Roadsters meet. 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, but Andys your man. |
