MG MGF Technical - What colour is my car
I have recently brought a black 2004 160 TF and want to get some touch up paint and possibly paint centre dash but not sure what colour my car is. I seem to remember that when O looked in Halfords a few weeks ago there were a few possibilities. When I say the car is black under certain lighting it is in fact a dark blueish charcoal. Thanks |

What is the 3 letter code for the colour on the data plate ?? Geoff F. |

The paint code is included on the commissioning plate in front of the spare wheel, and comprises a three letter code. eg HAM - British Racing Green Metallic 2 coats, LEF - Xpower grey etc. The codes are available on various MGF fora, but if you post it here we can identify it for you. |

It is probably Anthracite - LQW. |

The plate says 'PBT'. I have looked through the chart in Halfords but can't seem to work out which colour it is. If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated. Thanks |

PBT = Black Pearl You can get both a touch-up pencil and spray from Rimmer Brothers; http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-AWZ000370 http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-AWZ000410 |
