MG MGF Technical - What is the best tracking setting for road use?

Having a new bearing, front tyres etc fitted tomorrow.
What is the best setting for road use and is the tracking to be done loaded or unloaded?
Cheers

Been searching. Will go for 5' toe in all round. I take it the F is done unloaded?
Ddraig

Yup, +0¼05' all round is good (best if you have either poly bushes in the tie bar, or the compliance bush spacers - I don't recall whether you have these fitted Ddraig?)

Settings made with car unlaiden.

MUst get the compliance washers sometime. Cheers, will let mech know. BTW With no Cat, emissions were only just over the limit.
Ddraig

It's amazing how clean the K-series is: the 1.1 and 1.4 litre engines were designed to be emissions compliant without a cat - but unfortunately, catalysts were made mandatory irrespective of the cleanliness of the engine... D'oh!
Rob Bell

Ddraig, mind you on the 'toilet sills' from plumbers shop ;)
Much cheaper then the original.
app. 60mm outer dia. /20mm inner diameter and 3..4mm thick. See to get a hard rubber version.

Toe In 5 Minutes is good then as well (IMO) cause the rear will move less inwards from the engine torque. Without the washers 5...10 minutes might be easier to drive.

If the rear has more than the front it is going to stabilize even better. I drove F+0°01' R+0°10' recently and was happy, will make the front a bit higher next time. around 5
