MG MGF Technical - Whats missing
Can any VVC owners have a look at the pic and tell me what was previously in the empty threaded hole. The cam belts were changed last april presumably this is when a screw was left off. http://members.aol.com/jonbaker/mgfhole.jpg |

As far as i can remember, nothing's missing, it's used for a bracket on the FWD range of vehicles... can anyone back me up on this one? |

Sometimes these holes are there to attach a bolt and bracket to aid in engine lifting using a block and tackle or engine hoist. (I guess) Cheers, Branko |

Cheers, VIN 68xx. I remeber the nice cap. Got the same in the meantime. Baby Baker up for school soon ? :) |

Yes Dieter, Adam is at school now and is big enough to have had a few trips in the MGF. Lewis is 2 1/2 and isn't quite big enough for the booster seat. |
