MG MGF Technical - wheel nut torgue

Any body know what the torque rench seting is for the wheel nuts. Just taken the front wheels of to clean all the brake dust muck off, and its not in the hand book. Dont want to do them up to tight and mess something up
Ron TF160

Was 70Nm, but increased to 90Nm latterly
Jerry Herbert

I still use 70Nm on my F. Not sure why TF increased to 90Nm - or indeed whether the higher figure surpased the earlier, lower torque settings on all cars?
Rob Bell

Thanks for the info
Ron TF160

Higher on all cars.
90Nm is still something for hand tools.

Beware of power screw drivers. They almost are adjusted to 110++ Nm
Dieter

The handbook for my 2003 TF still says 70Nm. When did it change, and is it retrospective to cover earlier ones as I infer from Dieter's post?
