MG MGF Technical - Wheel nuts
Hi guys, Do any of you know of an aftermarket wheel nut for the 'F' that is in one piece, ie not with a thin, soft, cover over the actual nut? Had lots of problems today trying to remove a couple of stubborn wheel nuts. Thanks in advance, Ian |

Ian McGuard (sp?) are the market leaders in wheel nuts. Get them from any Halfords (well most of them). They should have a fitment guide to select the right set. OR Mike Satur sells them from his site at around £35. |

John, I think Ian is refering to the wheel nuts rather than the locking ones, there are solutions to both 'problems' as you have pointed out McGard locking ones.. but be care to get the right ones as we have seen the wrong ones forced on resulting in having to replace studs.. and stainless wheel nuts to replace the stock steel ones which we have manufactured and are considerably less than the standard steel ones. |

Thanks for the quick response guys, much appreciated. I already have the McGuard locking nuts and Mikes stainless wheel nuts seem just what I'm after. I'll be on the phone first thing Monday Mike :-) Thanks again, Ian |

Just an update....Ordered and received the wheel nuts from Mike very quickly. Changed them today and cant say enough how impressed I am with the quality of them, instead of the wheel brace flopping around on the original nuts its now tight and firm on the new ones. Thanks Mike, its safe to say that your wheel nuts are "the nuts" :-) Ian |

nowt like having a tight and firm grip on ya nuts;-)) |
