MG MGF Technical - Wheel spacers!.

Does any one make/supply the above??.

I want to bring the wheels out around 15mm if poss!, but dont know if anything is available, and even if it is will it affect camber/tracking etc?.

I suspect Mark wants to fit AP racing brakes behind his rather attractive aftermarket alloys Neil :o)

Mark, RichardP has done this with his Cup alloys.

Be wary though that the increase in track increases the scrub radius* - a side effect that will increase tramlining, particularly under braking, plus 'nervousness'...

How chunky are the Mike Satur adapters? If those give the required spacing, you'd have the bonus of being able to fit a variety of alternative alloys should the need arise.

If you're fitting the AP 4-pots, might be wise to fit the servo brace bracket too, although more powerful the pedal lacks a little 'feel'; I'm certain the extra rigidity is all that's needed.

Rob, your thoughts are correct! :o).

Love my 17s,and dont want to change them, but taking a few quick measurements from a Trophy I may need to space out around 5mm, plus I think the wheels need to come out a little to fill the arches more anyway!....
Kill two birds with one Mod as it were!!...

A-Plan are allready aware of my long list of Mods, but will check anyway!!..
