MG MGF Technical - Wing Mirror Missing this morning

Early start this morning to get to work to oversee the new Freelander proto builds and some f**ker has hit the side of the MG.
Drivers side wing mirror in pieces 50 yards down the road and nice big dent/ scrape down the rear quarter panel - Thanks.

Anyway quick question are the LHS and RHS mirrors interchangable? There's a LHS mirror on Ebay for a squid ending soonish and I think it should be ok but just wanted to check.

Remember there are different mirrors depending on year!

isn't electric (like most of them on ebay) and looks pretty much the same....

Don't suppose you know the differences??

Mine is a 1996 but it is in a rented garage a mile away from here so I can not go and check at the present. Perhaps someone else will know!

l&R are interchangeable on manual mirrors but NOT electric ones.
