MG TD TF 1500 - Addition of MK II to Merson TD List

Another MK II (TD/C 13795) has been added to the Merson TD List ( http://www.ttalk.info/car_lists.htm). Don't forget to refresh. Still haven't solved the xls issues.

Chris, I said it the wrong way. I maintain the TD list as an early xls (2003/2007) file that I can readily convert into an htm file. The htm file can be readily viewed by anyone with a standard browser. It's the xls version that is difficult, if not impossible, to open from the webpage. If anything, I'd want to be able to convert the latest htm file into a 'modern' xls file.
I'm trying to satisfy the Excel folks without having to put out the $$$ for the latest Excel version.
The TF list is maintained as an Excel file by Rick Taylor. I can not edit the list that I receive from Rick.

OK. I think I get it. Is he doing a Save As to xls for you instead of sending you an xlsx file?

Chris, it seems to be a problem with my computer and Excel. Open http://www.ttalk.info/car_lists.htm. Can you open the MersonTDList.xls and the MersonTDList.xlsx versions? Seems that my Acer laptop machine will open them, but my main desktop Dell draws a blank for either of them. Puzzling. Bud

I am able to open both of them, one as an Excel file and the other as a web page.

You could just save it as a PDF, and then everyone can view it as this is a universal format. That's what the TC provenance list has been doing for many years.
