MG TD TF 1500 - Aftermarket Valve Cover Cap

Anyone have an extra cap laying around? The cover is after market, but probably as old as the car.

My advice to you is to have a machine shop make up 10, and you sell them to pay for the one you keep.

Or order from MOSS, the RAD cap and thread the outside of the cover filler.

...or have it weldet and machined. Most of these cast items were made of RR50 Aluminium.

Did you try OOPS1947 at metalfan dot com , they specialize in all that misc hard to find spares. Mostly original parts but lots of hard to find items. Sam

A couple of years ago someone was making new octagonal caps for the Arnolt type valve covers and selling them on ebay. If you have some made they would probably sell pretty easily there.
