MG TD TF 1500 - Andrex Shock Absorbers Info

Ola Hjørungdal has spent a great deal of time documenting his experiences with the Adrex shocks on this TDC. He has also done some extensive drawings that could be of help to those who are trying to restore or maintain their shocks.

This autumn I ordered som wood discs for my Andrex, from Vintage & Classic Shock Absorbers Ltd in England.
It have taken some time. And in the mean time I also sendt a copy of my drawins to Graham Brown in VCSA. Last week I got this message back:

"Good Morning,
I have made the discs and they have now been pressure soaked in oil.
I attach our invoice and Bank details. Can you let me know when you have made the payment.
Your drawings look very good, did you do them for a reason? Did you make some new ones?
We have all the other internal parts except the spring and pressure disc which are usually reusable, we also have the rubber seal.

What a big surprise! There is actualy somebody that can supply spareparts for the Andrex friction shock absorbers.
