Beautiful job Tim. You can't appreciate the effort required to accomplish this until you go down the same path ( also admire your test equipment :) ). Regards, Bill |

Thanks Declan and Bill. Not a nut and bolt resto but more of a summer driver. Bill, I bought a SUN Distributor machine and the guy threw in the SUN Diagnostic machine. Pretty cool to see each cylinder's ignition trace on the oscilloscope all together or separately. A lot of other features as well. Tim TD12524 |

Great work on the handsome TD. Someone said to me the other day,"you must have patience to be able to restore these cars". I replied that it is more related to persistence and non wavering determination ! Congrats Tim. Cheers Rob Grantham TF3719("Aramis"),TF9177("Athos"). |

Nice to see your transformation dream coming true. Look forward to many years of driving and all the friendly smiles as others wish they were in that car. Cheers, Byron. |

Just one question Tim. In the pictures you posted which one is the before and which one is the after? Just kidding Tim. It looks great and all of us who have been down a similar road appreciate what it took to get there. Mort |
Mort Resnicoff |
Mort, funny you should ask. Many times during the restoration I found myself going backwards rather than forwards. Cutting a piece off of the bonnet side and then having to weld it back on for example. I should have said this earlier but without all of the help and advice from the folks on this site I would still be sifting through boxes wondering what I had gotten myself into. Thanks everyone. Regards Tim TD12524 |

TIM, FYI I have a set of right hand side and top bonnet pieces. Excellent condition, no dents, minor surface rust. Brought them down from MA. BTW, they're black. Bud |

Bud, where were you 6 months ago? lol I actually ended up with a pretty good fit. Tim TD12524 |
